This policy explains how Hierontapalvelu Hirvonen processes personal data and cookies on this website, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Finnish electronic communications law.

2. What data we process
We only process personal data when you submit the contact form. This stores: your name, the email address and/or phone number you provided, the topic/service you selected, and any free-text message.
We do not automatically collect data about your visit (no tracking or analytics cookies). See section 6, Cookies.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Contact form data is used solely to reply to your enquiry and to arrange any requested appointment or service.
The legal basis for processing is legitimate interest (responding to a customer enquiry) and, where relevant, preparing a contract.
4. Retention period
Messages received via the contact form are kept in email only for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, after which they may be deleted.
5. Disclosures and processors
Contact form messages are delivered by email via Resend (resend.com), which acts as a technical processor for sending emails.
Bookings are made on the external Nettiaika.fi service, which has its own privacy policy - we do not see or store data submitted there on this site.
If you accept showing the map in the Location section, the map is provided by Google (Google Maps) - see section 6.
We do not sell or otherwise share data for marketing purposes.
6. Cookies
This site does not use tracking or marketing cookies, or e.g. Google Analytics.
Your browser only stores a technical record of your cookie choice (localStorage) so the banner isn't shown on every visit.
The Google Maps embed in the Location section only loads if you click "Show map" or accept it in the banner. Google may then set its own cookies on your device under its own policies.
Visitor numbers may be tracked via Google Search Console and the Vercel hosting provider's server logs - neither of these sets cookies in your browser.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your data, and to object to processing. Contact us using the details above.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman of Finland (tietosuoja.fi) if you believe your data is being processed unlawfully.
